House Bill 231

This bill passed out of committee yesterday, and will be up for a vote on the house floor next week.  The bill would allow all cities in Montana to use volunteer firefighters, should the choose to.  Current law says that cities over 10,000 people can not have volunteers.  Montana is the only state in America that doesn’t let their municipalities make that decision for themselves.
